Expert Coalitions
An essential part of Participative Democracy is the establishment of sector-aligned Expert Coalitions consisting of academics, auditors, engineers, advisors, analysts, advocates and attorneys to provide input and assistance on issues which affect you.
We adopt a collaborative approach by working alongside other organisations or groups, each an expert within their field. This approach enables our specialised Expert Coalitions to ensure that campaigns remain focussed and effective to create impact in the sector they serve.
Energy Expert Coalition
Focussed on all energy matters including Eskom tariff hikes, municipal levies, government regulations or policies and more. Experts from coal, renewables, nuclear and other sectors.
Enviro Expert Coalition
DearSA’s Enviro Expert Coalition is a lobby group that has been developed to operate with other global environmental groups to increase collaboration with the objective to influence policy on environmental matters.
Finance Expert Coalition
DearSA’s Finance Expert Coalition is a lobby group established to address financial policy matters in South Africa. Of particular interest are regulations on pension funds and policies surrounding prescribed assets.
Education Expert Coalition
Focused on all education matters including primary, secondary and tertiary government regulations, homeschooling, remote schooling policies and more.
Communication Expert Coalition
Focussed on all communications and technology matters including 5G, SABC, government regulations or policies and more.
Water Expert Coalition
Focussed on all water matters, government regulations or policies and more.
