The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) has published a consultation document for public comment, following a court-ordered redetermination of Eskom’s allowable revenue for its MYPD6 period whereby the closing date has been set to 21 January 2026.

 

At stake is a R76 billion adjustment to Eskom’s allowable revenue, driven by build and operational cost structures that South Africans are likely to bear through an estimated 10.5% tariff hike
